I had a mixed experience at the Grand Vista Hotel. The staff, especially folks like Sarah, were super friendly and went above and beyond to help out, which I really appreciated. However, the hotel itself felt really outdated and needed some maintenance, with issues like the air conditioning being super loud and carpets that were pretty filthy. Overall, it's got potential, but it definitely needs a facelift.

I had a mixed experience at the Grand Vista Hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Carlos, who made my stay feel special. However, the hotel itself is a bit dated and needs some improvements, like fixing the air conditioning and updating the bathrooms.

Rooms

My first room had a loud air conditioner that sounded like construction. Thankfully, the staff quickly moved me to a better room, which was clean and spacious, though some amenities, like the bathroom, felt outdated.

I recently spent 10 days at the Grand Vista Hotel while my husband worked nearby, and it was a fantastic experience. The fitness center was great, and I especially loved the outdoor hot tub. One nice aspect was the very nice service from Sarah Klebe, who went above and beyond to return a ring my husband accidentally left behind. The only downside was that sometimes it could get a bit noisy in the hallways during busy times.

Rooms
8.0
My King room was spacious and clean, with a cozy seating area and good amenities like a fridge and microwave. The only issue I had was with the nearby ice machine, which could be a bit loud at times.
Service
10.0
The staff, especially Sarah Klebe, stood out for their really good helpfulness and friendliness. I encountered a minor issue with my first room, but the staff promptly moved me to another room without any hassle.

I stayed at the Grand Vista Hotel for a couple of nights due to its proximity to the Reagan Library and found it to be a mixed experience. The location is convenient and the value for the price is decent, but the hotel feels outdated and the room amenities could use improvement. While the staff were friendly and helpful, I encountered cleanliness issues in my room that really affected my stay.

Rooms
5.0
My room was unfortunately not as clean as expected, with hair found in the bathroom and bed, which was quite off-putting. The room itself was spacious, but it had a dated feel that didn't match the price I paid.
Service
6.0
The staff, particularly Vincent and Zach at the front desk, were very kind and accommodating. However, the cleaning staff seemed to struggle with maintaining proper cleanliness during my stay, which was disappointing.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently located right off Freeway 118, making it easy to access local attractions like the Reagan Library. This was definitely a strong point for me as it made travel easier.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered a limited selection, mostly dry waffle strips and cereals. While there was fresh fruit, I found that most guests preferred to get breakfast elsewhere, which tells me that more variety would be beneficial.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's amenities included a pool area for relaxation, which I found nice, but the overall facilities could use some upgrades to improve guest experience. I appreciated the well-equipped gym, but found the pool area a bit smaller than expected.

My stay at the Grand Vista Hotel was overall positive. The rooms were clean and spacious, and I appreciated the friendly staff who went above and beyond to help. However, the mattress was a bit too soft for my liking and I encountered some issues with the WiFi connectivity in my room. Despite these minor drawbacks, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it for families and travelers looking for value.

Rooms
8.0
The room was clean and spacious, allowing plenty of light without excessive heat. The bedding provided ample pillows of varying firmness, which I appreciated. However, I found the mattress too soft for my comfort.
Service

The staff, including Zach and Vincent, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They made me feel welcome and addressed my requests promptly, enhancing my overall experience.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was convenient, being just off Freeway 118, which made it easy to access nearby attractions. I found it simple to get to grocery stores and dining options in the area.
Dining

While I didn't dine extensively at the hotel, I did enjoy the in-room coffee and found the snack shop in the lobby handy. There are also nearby restaurants for more dining options.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered a well-equipped fitness center and a pleasant outdoor pool area, both of which I appreciated. However, I experienced some inconsistency with the WiFi, which was slower than expected at times.
